How are your rugs made?

Our rugs are thoughtfully designed in-house and handwoven by skilled artisans in India, with careful attention given to every detail. We work closely with our artisan partners to preserve the heritage of traditional craftsmanship while creating rugs designed for modern, livable interiors.

We use sustainable, natural materials including organic jute, hemp, and 100% New Zealand wool. Our dyes are hand-mixed using non-toxic materials and all rugs are rigorously tested to ensure they are free from harmful chemicals and additives.

We are proud to partner exclusively with GoodWeave® certified makers, ensuring ethical production practices, fair wages, and safe working conditions throughout the supply chain.

Production & Leadtimes

All Part & Parcel rugs are handwoven, made-to-order artisanal pieces. Once an order is placed, our skilled weavers begin a thoughtful, multi-step process that includes hand-dyeing, scaling and laying out the design, weaving the rug by hand, and carefully washing and drying the finished piece.

This process typically takes 12–16 weeks from order to completion and allows us to create rugs of heirloom quality and lasting durability. Because each rug is crafted entirely by hand, we are unable to expedite production. Every step is completed with intention, care, and respect for traditional craftsmanship. Lead times may vary slightly depending on size, material, and design complexity.

Pricing & Payment

Our rugs are made-to-order, handwoven artisanal pieces. Because each rug is crafted specifically for you, all sales are final and non-refundable. We encourage customers to carefully review measurements, colors, and design details before placing an order.

We recommend ordering samples prior to your final purchase to experience the materials, texture, and color in person.

Payment is due in full at the time of purchase. Pricing includes standard shipping and applicable tariff fees, unless otherwise noted at checkout.

Shipping & Delivery

Shipping is complimentary on standard rug sizes within the continental United States. Once your rug has completed production and ships, delivery typically takes approximately two weeks, and a tracking number will be provided when your order leaves our facility.

Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary based on carrier conditions. While we do our best to ensure timely delivery, we are unable to offer refunds or compensation for delays once an order has shipped.

Rugs are packaged for ground delivery and can be shipped to both residential and commercial addresses. White Glove delivery is available for oversized rugs and select orders; please contact us for details.

At this time, Part & Parcel Goods ships within the continental U.S. only. International customers are welcome to reach out to hello@partandparcelgoods.com to inquire about potential shipping options.

Returns & Cancellations

Because our rugs are made-to-order, cancellations are limited. Orders may be cancelled within 48 hours of purchase for a full refund. Cancellations requested after this window may be subject to a 50% restocking fee to cover materials and production already underway.

Returns are accepted only in the event that a rug arrives damaged or an incorrect item has been shipped. To initiate a return, please contact hello@partandparcelgoods.com within a reasonable timeframe and include photographs and a description of the issue.

Customers are responsible for return shipping and any associated delivery or setup costs. Returned items must be properly packaged and shipped via a reputable carrier. We reserve the right to decline refunds for items that do not arrive in new, unused condition.
